5 Stars Tuff-Luv Kindle 2 case
This is a fabulous case. It’s sturdy, folds back neatly for easy reading, and the stand allows you to prop it up on a table if you have a need to read it that way. I got it in rouge red… and it is dynamite… very stylish and protects my Kindle in a purse or tote bag. Researched a zillion cases, and this one is wonderful. Can’t find a single negative…. LOVE it!

4 Stars Light, Stylish Cover
My previous Kindle 2 cover was the Amazon leather cover. Unfortunately it cracked my Kindle, so I’ve been searching very carefully this time around for the right cover. The reasons why I chose Tuff-Luv Napa leather case was because it doesn’t have any hinges to hold the Kindle and the design is very nice.

I received the cover today and my first reaction was that the cover is rather soft. Maybe it’s because of its name “Tuff-Luv” that I expected it to be something more solid and hard. But I really don’t have much to complain so far except that my Kindle doesn’t fit as snugly as I had hoped. If I give it a light shake, the Kindle will slide out fairly easily. So I have to be very careful with it. And… don’t leave the cover on top of dusty tables, it picks up the dust very efficiently.

Other than that it’s very stylish and light.

I just love this cover. The black leather is elegant. The cover has a great fit, stands up easily, and seems strong enough to provide good protection.

5 Stars The best cover I found
After using my new Kindle 2 for a week, I knew I needed a cover, but I couldn’t find a cover that worked for my reading style – Until I found the I-nique Tuff-luf cover. This cover looks great, and has ever greater functionality. It holds your Kindle 2 securley, gives unobstructed access to all buttons, keyboard, headphone jack, and even small perforations over the speaker on the back to let sound through. However, all that is not what sets the Tuff-luv cover apart from the others. What I find most useful is that it has a stand that can flip out like the stand on a picture frame. This allows you to set your kindle 2 on a table, and read hands free with your kindle 2 at a comfortable reading angle. The stand snaps securely against the back of the cover when not in use. The stand is thick enough to be sturdy, but thin enough not to be a hinderance when you just want to flip the cover all the way over, and hold the Kindle 2 in your hand when you read. I’m glad spent some time looking to see what covers were available instead of just buying the stock cover from amazon. This cover is worth the money, and you won’t be dissapointed.

5 Stars Excellent Case for My Kindle 2
Shortly after receiving my Kindle 2, I realized that I wanted to have a cover for it when carrying it around in my handbag. I read through the features and reviews on all of the covers carried by Amazon and checked out what was available on E-Bay as well. I selected the Tuff-Luv and am really glad I did. The Kindle fits securely in this cover. It leaves access to all of the control functions while providing coverage for the Kindle and you can easily remove the Kindle should you want to do so.

The cover is leather and all of the stitching appears secure. One of my favorite features is the stand so I can read hands free. The stand snaps onto the back cover and is unobtrusive when not in use.

If you are looking for a secure cover for your Kindle that lets you get to all of the controls without removing the Kindle and a stand feature as well – this is the cover for you.

This cover is great. It has a handy inside pocket and protects the Kindle while maintaining a “book-like” appearance and feel. Also, for those of us who care about animals, it’s cool that you offer a quality cover that is not made from dead animal skins.

I really like this cover for my Kindle. It’s not much bigger than a thin paperback. It fits in my handbag, keeps the Kindle protected, and is inexpensive. I would recommend this cover to anyone with a Kindle.

2 Stars Item Took Over a Month to Arrive; Loose Strap
Three weeks after placing the order, it still had not arrived. When I attempted to cancel the order, I was unable to. The product finally arrived after one month of ordering it. Overall, the product is average. Since purchase, the strap has gotten loose and doesn’t really keep the Kindle secure. I guess that has alot to do with the fact that leather stretches.

4 Stars The perfect accessory, and excellent service
When I ordered this product, I expected to wait 6 weeks to ship; however, it arrived in a little over 2 weeks. What a pleasant surprise!

The Hinge Jacket arrives in fairly minimal packaging, adequate to protect the product, but not wasteful. The instructions to insert and remove the Kindle from the jacket are straightforward and clear.

This Jacket provides excellent protection for the Kindle 2, while being comfortable to use: it’s rigid where it contacts the device, but its spine is soft and flexible for comfort. The strap keep the cover securely closed in my pack, and the right-side elastic corners hold the Kindle firmly to the back of the jacket – this case won’t crack your Kindle like the Amazon case might.

A soft spine allows the jacket to fold over for comfortable one-handed reading, and there is space between the device and the spine for the forthcoming M-Edge reading light. While I found this space made operating the Kindle with my left hand more comfortable, this might be a challenge for those with tiny hands. Fortunately, the Kindle aligns nearly flush with the right-hand side of the jacket – if you have small hands, one-handed reading is best done with your right hand.

The only real criticism I have is that the closure strap is a little bit fussy at first. I had some irritation getting it properly secured, and a little bit more getting it to fold out of the way when reading. Spending a bit over a week with it, though, and the material relaxes – I no longer have this issue.

Overall, I am extremely pleased with this purchase.

The only thing that I’m not so sure I like is that it’s kinda hard to put the close part into the book, the little flap thingy. But otherwise, my husband says that it works great! Seems very well made and durable!

5 Stars Kindle 2 Leather cover
I love the way it protects my Kindle, which I tote around everywhere – in my purse, on the seat in my car, stuffed in a beach tote, etc. I also like that it makes the reader feel like a “real” book as I make my transition from paper books to my e-reader. I’m glad I ordered it at the same time I purchased my Kindle.

The cover looks good, integrates very well with the Kindle, and does what it’s supposed to. It seems a little flimsy; I’ll have to see how it holds up (that’s my main concern.)

This is a good protector for the Kindle 2. It doesn’t add much to the thickness and weight. My only con is that the price is a bit high for my test, but if you want to protect your kindle this is a must have.

4 Stars Wish it had more padding…my screen got broken.
I love the comfort, style, and durability of this cover, but it needs more padding. Maybe my kindle wouldn’t have had to be replaced if this cover was more padded.

3 Stars Kindle Book Cover has drawbacks
First of all there are no instructions or warnings included with the cover. The instructions could have told me how to hook/un-hook the metal clips that secure Kindle. I assume I can unhook Kindle but don’t know how to do this, yet. Hooking them took some trial and error…

Instructions would have also warned me that if I try to open Kindle backwards that I would stress/break Kindle. This might be hard to understand (I didn’t understand until I purchased this cover) but there are two clips on the cover that hook into the Kindle. A good design would have allowed me to flip the book forward or backward. Alas, the current design will damage Kindle if you try to open it backwards.

Be forewarned-you can actually damage Kindle with this book cover. I placed Velcro strips on the back to prevent accidental opening…

Fits like a glove, secures Kindle much better than cover that shipped with our Kindle. Light fits in as promised.The only thing I am not crazy about is the tab for closing cover it does have to be tucked out of the way when reading.

1 Star Too small for Kendle
My Kindle is 1/4″ taller than than the M-edge. After struggling 15 minutes to get the Kindle in the jacket I was disappointed to see that the Jacket is SMALLER then the Kindle!

I will try to return it, but the description stated all sales final. I may be stuck with it, but I will NOT be using it!

5 Stars Great cover
I was having trouble with my Kindle falling out of the case that came with it, so I purchased this one and am really glad I did. It holds my Kindle very securely and is very comfortable to hold while reading. I like the pockets on the inside of the cover too and am using the larger one for holding my screen cleaning cloth.

Bought this cover to use with the new light designed for it. I like the book cover a lot more than the light, Very high quality leather and well made.

4 Stars A nice inconspicuous K1 cover that addresses most of the issues.
The Kindle 1, when released, had a few challenges associated with keeping it safe, secure and protected. The cover supplied by Amazon was really inadequate. This review is for the Brown color that I purchased for my own use. (I have also reviewed the camel colored cover that I purchased as a gift for my sister.) This color is a nice deeper brown that simulates the look and feel of leather quite effectively. I think it’s really quite attractive and looks good in my leather handbag/tote.

The M-Edge cover provides greater security for the K1 as there are 3 leather corner slots and an elastic “bungee” corner band to secure the device in place. The cover itself is fairly rigid and should protect the unit if dropped from a short distance.

One of the things I wish this product had is a padded area for the very fragile screen. To tell you just how fragile the screen actually is, my nephew rested his elbow on my sister’s Kindle, while it was in the original black case, and ruined the screen! This cover does not offer any additional built-in padding to provide more screen security. However, when the item was shipped, a thick sheet of black foam had been slipped inside the cover to simulate the K1. I trimmed this sheet of foam down slightly and inserted it into the large pocket sewn into the cover flap and now I have excellent protection for the screen of my K1! I’m so glad I did not throw away that thick piece of foam! The reason I took away 1 star was due to this lack of protection and because it’s a bit of a tight squeeze to reach the control switches on the back of the K1 while the cover is on (and I’ve got skinny fingers).

In addition to the large pocket, there are several other pockets including 2 specifically designed to house additional SD memory cards. There’s a pen loop that I would never use (I don’t want anything hard like a pen to be held up against the side of my fragile K1).

The covering is a pseudo-leather and is really quite soft. I like the closure in that when I open the case to read, I can secure the case shut by slipping the tab into the slot from the back very easily. The cover is also fairly inconspicuous. When closed, it looks like any other “leather journal” in existence and doesn’t scream “Expensive Electronic Gadget!!” to the world. This is great as I have heard numerous stories about Kindles being stolen.

I also liked the fact I could use my Prime membership to get this item delivered to me very quickly for free. (I strongly encourage other vendors to emulate the practice of sending in a sampling of your wares to Amazon for their warehouses to fulfill.) It would also have been eligible for free regular ground delivery via the Super Saver Shipping program.

I have a Kindle 1, this Memory Card is all that I wanted, and more. Despite the one review to the contrary, it did not need to be formatted to work with my Kindle. It worked the moment I put it in, and hasn’t failed me yet.

More importantly (to me), if it ever does fail, I am assured that Accessory Genie will promptly answer any question I might have quickly and professionally. Within a week of my purchase, they contacted me to make sure I received the card and was satisfied with its performance.

True Customer Service is a rare commodity in this day and age, and I more than appreciate their follow-up.

I PURCHASED TWO OF THESE MEMORY CARDS HERE AND NEITHER WORKS WITH OUR KINDLE’S. I’VE SPENT HOURS AND HOURS ON THE TELEPHONE TRYING TO GET THEM TO WORK WITH THE KINDLE. THEY DO WORK ON IBM COMPUTERS BUT THERE IS NO WAY TO GET THEM TO WORK ON THE KINDLE. IT WAS 6 MONTHS BEFORE I NEEDED THEM SO AM SURE THEY CAN NOT BE RETURNED. 1 Star Does Not Work With Kindle
I bought the 133xSD 4GB card for my Kindle. When I put it in the slot, a message flashed on the screen, “The inserted SD memory card could not be read. Please reformat the card or use a different, compatible card.”

I put the card in my Canon digital camera to be sure it wasn’t simply a defective card and it worked great there.

The Kindle support line told me that there is no way to reformat the card, it wasn’t compatible. This item is not sold by Amazon, simply through Amazon and they have no way of knowing if it works or not unless people complain.

I know others above give it rave reviews with a Kindle, but either the card has been changed or something about the Kindle has been.

This storage card does not work with the Kindle I received for Christmas 2008!!

1 Star Did not work!
I have a Kindle 1 and bought this memory card because it was advertised for use with Kindle 1. I had to remove it because my Kindle kept giving me low memory warnings and finally froze and when I tried to restart the Kindle with directions, it did not restart. Only when I removed the card, could I get my Kindle to work again. I would say that this is not a compatible card for use with Kindle and I also do not think it is necessary to have a memory card since the entire library of books is always listed and available to put on and take off in the Amazon Library of content. Don’t waste your money!
