5 Stars Great for travel or night time reading
I had been using the Mighty Brite light with my kindle, but every time I moved it would slip off the kindle due to its excessive weight and bulk. I recently purchased the M edge book cover and e-Luminator light. I can only say “BRAVO”! This is the perfect device for Kindle lovers who read at night or on an airplane and don’t want to disturb others. Its easy to set up. The battery is easy to load. Then, just insert the long edge of the e-Luminator into the pocket at the top of the M edge cover. It fits perfectly with little additional bulk or weight. When rotated downward the e-Luminator fits neatly into the spine of the M edge cover. The cover can easily slip into a purse or book bag. When you are ready to read the e-Luminator can be rotated to focus down on the page and the goose neck can twist to clearly illuminate the page without glare. It is bright enough to make reading comfortable in the darkest of rooms but small enough that it does not interfere with your view. I have had this for a month now and it still shines brightly. The M edge cover is nice looking as well.
3 Stars Good but room for improvement
If you are looking for portability this is a great little light. Definitely not as bright as some – but certainly adequate, after you adjust the position a few times. Like others, I can see little difference between the two light settings. It fits into the cover neatly. My one gripe is that when you close the cover it will no longer completely cover the Kindle – the right hand side now sticks out. It’s a minor issue, but without the light the cover was a beautiful neat fit. The answer I suppose will be for M-Edge to design an updated cover with the light built in – like the Periscope light version. In the meantime it is still a great buy.

I purchased this light really liking the way it looked in the cover. After I received the light it fit snugly into the case and looked like it would work well. The light head extends down past the cover a bit and so does the Kindle corners (I am not happy with my Medge cover but will keep my review to the light). I like to read at night in bed without waking up my husband. I was very, very disappointed at the lack of light output from this product. It states that it has two levels of light but I don’t see it. The switch is very cheap in both style and function but I could get over this if the light was decent. It isn’t and therefore can not recommend it to anyone. Good design concept, Poor execution.
5 Stars Perfect Booklight for M-Edge Covers!
I’ve been using this booklight for about 2 weeks now with my fuschia M-Edge Hinge Jacket and they are the perfect pair! It fits nice and snug in the spot specifically created for it. Most say that there’s not a big diff in the brightness of the 2 settings, but you can tell the high setting has a stronger LED and it changes the look of the text on the screen. It’s not a great big diff, but my eyes appreciate the bit of diff. I read in bed every night using it while my DH sleeps, and I love that I always have a light with me which doubles as a flashlight when you pull it out of the cover LOL So without second thoughts, I give this light 5 STARS!
5 Stars Clever Idea
I like this light as it fits in several of the M-Edge Kindle covers. It’s a very clever idea and makes it easy to use whether at home or for travel. I also own the Mighty Bright which I was extremely happy with, this one is just more convenient.
