I’ve tried several adapters, and I like this one the best. It’s small, fast, and does what it’s supposed to with no issues. I don’t know what could be done to make it any better other than a way to secure the caps so they cant get lost, but that’s a minor issue.
3 Stars Interfered with other USB ports
I have a newer Macbook that has 2 usb ports that are next to each other. While I’m using the card reader I can’t have other USB devices plugged in. Works fine though.

Upon inserting this $0.25 drive into a USB port, the system makes the connect sound but the drive does not show up in My Computer. Wasted $4.50 on shipping.

Brought this to read my SDHC card. Very few adapters out there that can do this. Awesome deal for $5 (including shipping) and works exactly as advertised. Totally recommend it!!! (Note, have not tried it with any other cards other than SD and SDHC.)
