4 Stars Secure Cover and True to Color
The purple was true to color which is always plus. The main reason I purchased this model is because it includes the hinge lock feature. I wish all of them did. The hinge system is one of my favorite updates on the Kindle2. I wanted the platform model but it doesn’t appear to have the hinge feature. Oh well. I like that I can finally get the optional light. Now that it’s in stock. It’s a nice alternative for travel being smaller than my mighty bright deluxe and a/c power adapter. If you are like me however and like to fold the cover back, it will be stiff at first but loosens up after a while.
4 Stars LOVE IT!
I ordered a K2 less than a month ago and after reading many many reviews, Kindle vs Sony Reader. I decided on the Kindle. I also purchsed this cover at the same time, good choice. I can’t imagine using my Kindle without the cover. Love the book feel it gives it and the leather on the outside. Glad I ordered it because it makes me feel my Kindle is more secure (I carry it everywhere with me).
One thing, about a week later I ordered the light for it. I don’t even use it. For me the cover doesn’t close well with the light inside. Other than that I love this cover, and I love the color purple.

5 Stars The perfect travel companion!
I just received the Prodigy cover and Illuminator book light, and I already have the Go cover. I ordered the Prodigy cover to use when traveling,as I do quite a bit. The inside pocket is perfect for holding the boarding passes and other travel related paperwork, and you can put your driver’s license in one of the pockets so you don’t have to keep digging into your wallet to get it out.
I have seen several reviews where people think it is too big because they do not seem to understand that the extra space is to accommodate the light. For those people, they should consider the Go cover, which also has the marvelous hinge system and restraining bands, but does not have the gap for the light.
4 Stars A little too big
I have both the Kindle 2 cover from Amazon and, for my wife’s Kindle 2, the M-Edge prodigy jacket. The M-Edge is by far the better product in terms of quality and padding, and we like the M-Edge’s leather clasp and the pocket for ID such as a business card. However, the cover, when closed, is a full half-inch wider than the Amazon cover, and for no apparent reason. It takes up space unnecessarily, so be aware you’re getting a lot of wasted width. I’d recommend that M-Edge redesign this item.
5 Stars Great customer service and product
I purchased this cover when I purchased my Kindle. I had a slight problem with the first one that was sent and sent an e-mail about the slight defect. Jackie responded quickly and I sent it back for an exchange within a week I had my new cover I really like the hinge system and I have ordered the light that fits in the slot on this cover. I have not recieved the light but I have used the mighty bright light and it clips on the left side of the cover. It does make it heavier so I am looking forward to the recieving the m-edge light. People I have shown my Kindle 2 are very interested in getting one and they really like this cover as well. I am very happy with the prompt customer service and the cover and would recommend it to anyone who has a Kindle 2
