This case is a beautiful red! The texture helps hide the little scratches since this usually travels with me everywhere. The Kindle 2 lays in it nice and snug. There is a little space on the left and it’s for the white M-edge book light. Every detail was very thought of very carefully. When you have the case open, slide the strap into the enclosure used to normally keep the case closed and this will help prop up the book and you can read handsfree.
5 Stars Great choice for hands-free reading
My son chose this cover for me as a birthday present three months ago when my family got me the Kindle, and it’s turned out to be a great choice. Left to my own devices, I probably would have chosen a traditional side opening case, but what a mistake that would have been! The top hinge on this model easily converts it into an easel stand–perfect for hands-free reading anywhere. This is important to me because nerve damage makes it difficult and painful for me to read any book I have to hold for long. This cover makes it easy to prop up the Kindle on my tummy when reading in bed so I can completely relax my hands and arms. The pocket on the top half is perfect for a reading light. The left edge of the cover also extends out about a half inch or so from the Kindle, which makes it easy to hold when I need to and gives access to the Kindle’s previous page feature, which is only on the left side. The case fits the Kindle perfectly and the red color is a great touch and more fun than the traditional black. I love this case and definitely recommend it.

I love the red leather cover for my Kindle. It protects the surface of my Kindle and makes holding the Kindle quite comfortable. The fact that you can use the closing tab to prop the cover open makes it adaptable to a variety of reading conditions.

I purchased the Medge red Kindle 2 Jacket from Amazon and I love it. When I first opened the box the smell was awful, but it dissipated within a day or so. I feel like my Kindle is protected when in the cover. I have dropped it twice now while in the cover and it’s fine, but I’m certain it would not be fine had it not been in the cover.

I purchased the M-edge Platform Jacket for my Kindle 2 right after receiving my Kindle. It fits perfectly. I have a small clip on light I use when I read in bed and it works great. I carried this with me on my recent trip to Europe and it was so convenient to stand the jacket on the airline tray table and read. The color of the marbled red is just beautiful. Couldn’t ask for a better product.
